Restoration Projects continued (2)

The photographs below show the restoration of the banisters, hallway and doors. All of the doors were stripped and then waxed. To complete the look, crystal door handles were fitted. The orginal banisters were removed and replaced by new handmade banisters modelled on the old pattern. With the doors and banisters restored, the area was completed with plastering and painting all of the walls and re-laying the floor with reclaimed oak.
